What would your life look like if you stopped settling for what you could tolerate and started making room for what you actually want?

Hi, I’m A.P.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist, writer, certified Soul Purpose Coach, and mentor for people who know there’s more of themselves asking to be lived.

A lot of the people I work with are artists and creatives trying to build a sustainable creative life around jobs, bills, relationships, limited energy, and all the other inconvenient realities of being a person. Others come to me because something in their life simply doesn’t fit anymore, and they need help figuring out what comes next.

I’m not here to hand you a blueprint for your life, but to help you get honest about what you want, notice what keeps getting in the way, and turn what we discover into choices you can actually make in the mess of a real life.

Sometimes that work is practical. Sometimes it takes us somewhere stranger. Usually, it’s a little of both.

Here’s the reality...

You did all the things you were supposed to do.

You worked hard. Made the sensible choices. Built the career, stayed in the relationship, paid the bills, became very competent at being the person your life required you to be. And still, something doesn't feel right.

Maybe the script you were handed simply doesn't fit anymore.

Maybe you keep saying you're going to take your art seriously, but your creative life gets whatever scraps of you are left at the end of the day.

Maybe you've outgrown a job, a relationship, a place, or an entire version of yourself, and knowing that hasn't made leaving any less terrifying.

Maybe nothing is dramatically wrong, which is almost more confusing. Your life technically works and you know how to function inside it. You might even be good at it.

You just don't particularly want to keep living it this way.

And perhaps you've been waiting for something to happen before you're allowed to change it, something like more certainty, money, time, a sign, permission, a five-year plan, or some miraculous morning when you wake up completely unafraid to take the leap into change.

I can't promise you any of those things.

What I can offer is somewhere to get very honest about what you want, what is keeping you where you are, and what it might look like to start moving toward it with the life, resources, responsibilities and imperfect circumstances you actually have.

You don't have to blow up your entire life tomorrow, but it would be helpful if you stopped abandoning the parts of yourself asking to be lived.

Nod your head if any of the situations below sounds like you

You've journaled about it, talked about it, perhaps pulled several cards about it. You aren't lacking desire. Somewhere between knowing and doing, you keep getting stuck.

I know what I want. I just can't seem to make myself do it.

The job gets your best hours, responsibilities get your energy, your art gets whatever remains, and you're tired of treating the thing that matters to you like an extracurricular activity.

I want to take my creative life seriously, but my actual life keeps getting in the way.

The career, relationship, place, identity—or version of yourself—you built your life around no longer feels quite right. You can feel the ending before you can see the beginning.

Something in my life has stopped fitting, but I don't know what comes next.

You're not short on inspiration. You're drowning in it. You start things, question them, change direction, and struggle to give one thing enough devotion to discover what it could become.

I have too many ideas and no clue which one to follow.

Nothing is catastrophically wrong. You've simply become bored, disconnected or overly comfortable inside a life that used to fit. You miss feeling curious about what might happen next.

My life is fine. I'm just not particularly excited to be living it.

So, what do we do about it?

We start where you actually are.

There's no need to blow up your life for the sake of transformation, or pretend you can manifest your way around bills, responsibilities, fear, or the fact that change is inconvenient.

We get curious about what you want, what keeps getting in the way, and what needs to change in the way you spend your time, energy and attention.

Then we start experimenting!

You try new things, make things, have the conversation, set the boundary, protect the afternoon, send the application, take the class, finish the draft, change your mind, and come back and tell me what happened.

And we go from there.

1:1 Mentorship

Four months to give what matters to you more than your leftover time.

There are things you can figure out in a single conversation, and then there are the things that need time— time to make the decision, try something different, get scared, change your mind, experiment, come back, and realize the problem wasn’t actually what you thought the problem was initially and try something else.

That’s why I work in a four-month container.

Every other week, we meet for 75 minutes and bring whatever is most alive in your life into the room. We look at where you are, what you want, what keeps getting in the way, and what the next honest move might be.

Then you go live it.

Between sessions, the work moves out of the theoretical and into your actual life. You might protect two mornings for your art, have the conversation you've been avoiding, finish the proposal, try on an archetype, apply for the thing, say no, make something terrible, or discover that what you thought you wanted isn't actually what you want at all.

Then we meet again with new information.

There is no predetermined curriculum because I don't know what your life needs before I meet you.

What I can promise is that we won't spend four months endlessly talking about the person you want to be.

We're going to give them somewhere to live.

what’s included:

  • 8 private 75-minute sessions

We meet every other week for four months. Long enough to go somewhere meaningful in each conversation, with enough life between sessions for you to actually try what we're talking about.

  • Support between sessions

You'll have a way to check in between our calls when something shifts, you get stuck, or you need another pair of eyes on what you're navigating

  • Practices made especially for you

Depending on what we're working with, I may send you prompts, exercises, experiments, reading and film recommendations, or creative practices to explore between our sessions.

Sometimes we might work with tarot or archetypes. Sometimes the most useful thing I can give you is a deadline.

No one-size-fits-all workbook, and no homework for homework's sake.

  • Your next 90 days

Our work doesn't end with me wishing you luck after session eight.

In our final session, we'll look at what has shifted, what you're still working toward, and build a realistic plan for the next 90 days so you know how to keep moving forward.

FAQs

I know this territory…

Long before I started helping other people change their lives, I had to admit that I didn't particularly want the one I'd built.

On paper, I was doing everything right: college degree, law degree, relationship, respectable career path. Inside, I had abandoned almost everything that made me feel like myself,

So I started experimenting.

I left the legal career path I was on and began working at a museum, a spa, and a farmers market. I also started writing again and followed interests that made absolutely no sense on a résumé. Eventually I wrote a book, moved abroad to Mexico, then Portugal, then Brazil, became an artist, and built a life that would have been almost unrecognizable to the woman who thought becoming an attorney was the sensible thing to do.

None of it happened in one brave leap, but through a long series of decisions that looked small at the time. That's part of why I believe so deeply in this work. I know what it's like to recognize that your life no longer fits before you have any idea what should replace it.

And I know you don't need to have the whole thing figured out before you begin.

MAYBE THIS IS YOUR SIGN.

If something in you has been calling you for a while, come tell me about it.
